University of Dallas: Youth Fest
Save the Date! Teens are invited to join the University of Dallas at the 1st Youth Fest. It will be held on Sunday, October 13.
The theme will be Word of Life, Word of Love (Verbum Vitae, Verbum Caritatis)…taken from two passages of Scripture:
John 17:3: “Now this is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.”
1 John 4:7: “Beloved, let us love one another because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.”
The event will include:
• Music throughout the day and a concert by Ike Ndolo and the Ike Ndolo Band
• Special musical guest, Down the Hill
• Speakers from the faculty of the University of Dallas: Susan Hanssen, Ron Rombs, Fr. Thomas Esposito, O.Cist.; Kathryn Davis; Sr. Mary Angelica Neenan, O.P. and more
• Mass
• Eucharistic Adoration
• Opportunity for Confession
Parish leaders are to organize their own groups to attend and create their parish permission forms per participant.
