Would you like to make a difference? Are you looking for opportunities to love thy neighbor by serving the poorest of the poor?
Project Finding Calcutta is offering a half day of service in the spirit of Mother Teresa. We will begin with fellowship and orientation at 9:00 a.m. in the Church parking lot and then split into smaller groups to comfort the elderly by gardening at a nursing home, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters to assist low income families, organize supplies at a food pantry, and feed the homeless on the streets.
Please RSVP here, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect and follow us on Facebook to see pictures and to join the dialog. Like Mother Teresa said, “let us do something beautiful for God.”
“Find your own Calcutta. Find the sick, the suffering, and the lonely, right where you are — in your own homes and in your own families, in homes and in your workplaces and in your schools. You can find Calcutta all over the world, if you have eyes to see.” – Mother Teresa
